Now I know McDonald's comes with a long list of social and health issues, but on this night it was truly as dreamy as the commercials! With the Stadium of Fire kickoff clock ticking it was the perfect choice for the night, and quite a delightful experience for all....Court and I even got out own Happy Meals! (and they really do have the best fries!)
Now for the happy night....STADIUM of FIRE!My love for this event is as true and the Good Ol' Red White & Blue! And it was even more glorious to share the day with such grand company! Have you ever seen a more patriotic crew?
We gathered quite the collection of American paraphernalia in prep for this night and the girls were working all of it quite nicely!
Our buddy Bradley hooked us up with a parking lot a mere 3 miles from the Stadium, so needless to say, there was a lot of piggy back riding! Everyone was a super trooper about the walk there, but not so sure about the walk back, until at midnight when we got a call from our buddy Bradley who was still stuck in the thick of up close parking jams...we hopped in our car are headed right out...our 6 mile hike paid off! (the walk back also had the piggy back of all piggy backs!....Elle managed to ride on her Daddy's shoulder ASLEEP for the trek back!)
The night is full of top notch entertainment from start to finish!
The piano brothers and sisters have some very artistic genes!
Carrie Underwood was by far the hit of night! That girl is just plain cute and she can sing!
We used our handy dandy iPhone to capture the magic of the rock out! (sorry about the Hartley sway! and if you listen closely you can hear the girls singing along with joy in their hearts!)
Our flag stood tall in the gorgeous Utah sunset and the firework display was spectacular, but it did have a few glitches...they lost sound for a while and caught a lady on fire! She was okay and the show pressed on!
