Jog-A-Thon Smiles!

Ellery-Joy missed her first Jog-a-Thon (along with every other major school event last year), and we have been talking about it ever since! So when this year's Jog rolled around, needless to say, she was ready!
She took the warm-up exercises quite serious and gave it her all from here on out!
Runners to your mark!
Ellery-Joy was all smiles from the start of race to the very end!

The only thing brighter than her smile, was the hot pink jacket she insisted upon wearing! Check out that moment of pure joy as she turns the corner of her first lap!
After exclaiming "Wow! That was like a kids marathon or something!", Elle headed off to get some water with the girls! Rylee and Isabelle were equally ready for a little hydration, but sipped with smiles!

Harts proved to be an excellent cheerleader from the slide, calling out "Gooooo!" every time her sister ran by!
Here's the whole class lined up for a post run photo shoot! Way to go guys!

Egg Hunt

Yes, as in an EASTER egg hunt! When you combine the fact that the annual MOPS egg hunt was canceled due to the frigid Spring and held five weeks after Easter, and the fact that I am way behind on my blog postings, this is what you get...an Easter Egg Hunt in JULY!
Hartley-Love was not sure about the spoon race at first, and insisted on standing right in front of the row of kiddos ready to run...once Ciera said "Go!", she quickly figured how the whole race thing worked and decided to join in the fun!

Got a green one!
We finished the day with some play time and the park and a box of Nerds from our green egg!
Yum! Yum!

The Brave Little Biker!

It's no secret that Ellery-Joy enjoys to be successful at a project, and if there's any doubt in her mind she tends to shy away, so when she asked her Dad to take her training wheels off her bike we were a little shocked, but jumped right on board!

She gave it her all and zipped around and around that cult-de-sac making many different faces...it was quite hilarious to watch her wobble about with her gloves on and her skirt flying in the air! Her and her Daddy were having a hay day! It was pretty special!
Hartley-Love was not sure what to make of the event, and kept running down the street after her yelling "Elle...bike....Elle...bike!" (Don't worry my little friend, your day will come soon enough!)
Our brave little biker gave it her all, but without the sweet taste of success in her mouth, she decided she wanted her Dad to put her training wheels back on and she would try it again when she was 5!

It's good to be a MOM!

The Mother's Day celebration at Mountain View is a very special day with no detail left undone! From the moment you walk through the classroom doors, love is lavishly poured out on all the Moms. Ellery-Joy and her classmates went out of thir way to make us feel oh, so special...and it worked! I left that place beaming!
Check out the sweet love in the tiny details...

The table are set with lace and flowers and adorned with hand made napkin rings and place cards. The line up of events is recored in a sweet program and a beautiful song is sung with love...
All in all it's a wonderful reminder of how grand this Mom gig is and how blessed I am to be loved so deeply by such an amazing little girl! Thanks baby girl! I love you!
And since we are speaking of love, blessings, and Mountain View, we much mention Teacher Michele! She is a wonderful lady with the sweetest heart and Elle's love for her is deep and wide! We're so thankful she's in our lives!
